Pivot Sponsors Local Youth

Pivotlog.net has sponsored a local youth, Kyle Gordon! Kyle is a 9 year old goaltender for the Western Valley Atom AAA Spartans hockey team. When asked what he wanted to do when he grows up Kyle told us, “I want to be an NHL goaltender!”. Having played hockey since 2002 we are sure that Kyle is well on his way to his dream and wish him nothing but success. Kyle’s favorite hockey team is the Boston Bruins and his favorite player, Patrick Roy.
Our sponsorship offsets the cost of Kyle’s team jerseys ans also goes toward other team expenses as well. Kyle will be wearing PIVOTLOG.NET on the back of his hockey jersey this season and we will post a picture of him wearing the Pivot name as soon as we can get one!

I think great but why specific Kyle, what makes him different?
Kyle is the son of a colleague. Normally local businesses are the source of sponsorship for kids like Kyle but when his dad told me about the sponsor program I thought it would be really good local exposure for Pivot and would also help out a young athlete! Win-win!
How would you define ‘local’? I thought the founder of pivot lived in The Hague, Holland? 
I live in the hague, yes. But, luckily i’m not the only one who’s behind this project. Griswald lives in Canada, so for him this team is local. 
And Gris: i can’t wait to see the photos!

T, Kyle is local to me over here on the east coast of Canada. Sorry for the confusion. I should have been more clear in the original post.
